Since the exams have been regulated, they are approved by the UK government. If you require a GCSE equivalent qualification or a GCSE for higher education or employers, City & Guilds functional skills level 2 in IT, Maths and English is an option for you, Just before you book your exam, it would be beneficial to check with the course provider since some prefer other qualifications such as equivalency tests over functional skills.
